About these terms

These terms concern the use of benjivejs.com, operated by CloudX, CVR 41332492, Ourøgade 20, 3th, 2100 København Ø, Denmark.

BenjiVejs is an educational publication owned and operated by CloudX and written by Benjamin Vejs. It shares practical guides, technical experiments and information about DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation and related engineering topics.

These terms do not replace any separate agreement governing a consulting assignment.

General information and consulting services

Blog posts, tutorials, examples and other website content provide general information rather than consulting advice tailored to your circumstances. Please read our Disclaimer before applying technical information from this website.

Visiting the website, using its content or sending an enquiry does not by itself create a consulting engagement or a payment obligation.

If you would like advice tailored to your organisation or technical environment, please contact CloudX to discuss an assignment.

The scope, fees, responsibilities and other conditions of consulting services are governed by the applicable separate agreement, whether the assignment is arranged directly or through a consulting agency.

Lawful use

You must use the website lawfully and respect the rights of others.

You must not use the website to send spam, threats, unlawful material or malicious software; attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or information; or deliberately disrupt the website’s operation.

We may take reasonable measures to prevent misuse and protect the website, including restricting access where necessary for security or legal reasons.

Website content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, rights in content created by CloudX belong to CloudX. Third-party content, names, trademarks and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and any applicable licences.

You may read, link to, and print or save reasonable portions of the website for personal use or internal business reference. Preserve relevant attribution and copyright notices.

Except as permitted by applicable law or an applicable licence, you must obtain permission before republishing or distributing substantial portions of our articles, images or other materials.

The following section provides separate permission for code and configuration examples.

Code and configuration examples

Where CloudX provides its own code snippets, commands or configuration examples without a separate licence, you may copy, use and adapt those examples for personal or business purposes, including incorporating them into client projects.

This permission applies only to material that CloudX has the right to license. Third-party material remains subject to its applicable terms. Where an example or linked repository has its own licence, that licence governs its use.

Examples are provided “as is”, without warranties to the extent permitted by applicable law. They may depend on particular software versions, permissions, services and environments, and may become outdated.

You are responsible for deciding whether an example is suitable for your purposes, reviewing its effects, testing and adapting it, and obtaining any necessary permissions before implementation. This includes use in your own systems or client projects. Maintain suitable backups and consider security, availability and cost implications.

Publishing an example does not create an obligation for CloudX to provide support, maintenance, updates or compatibility fixes. No particular result is guaranteed.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CloudX is not liable for losses resulting from the use, modification or implementation of these examples, including data loss, downtime, security incidents or unexpected costs.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Work performed as part of a consulting assignment remains governed by the applicable separate agreement and law.

Enquiries and materials you send us

When contacting us, provide information that you are entitled to share. Please avoid sending passwords, access credentials, sensitive personal information or confidential client material by email.

We use enquiries and accompanying materials to assess and respond to your request, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of materials you submit. Sending an enquiry does not grant CloudX permission to publish your message, name or materials for marketing purposes.

Where an assignment requires access to confidential information or systems, the relevant arrangements should be agreed separately.

External links

The website may link to third-party websites, products or services. We do not control those websites or their terms, content or practices.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their applicable terms. A link or reference does not by itself imply a partnership or endorsement.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the website available and its information useful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that all content will always be complete, current or free from errors.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CloudX excludes liability for losses arising from reliance on general website information or from the use or unavailability of the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Liability relating to consulting assignments is governed by the applicable separate agreement and law.

Personal information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, cookies and browser storage. It is a privacy notice; these terms do not constitute consent to optional processing.

Applicable law and disputes

These website terms are governed by Danish law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply.

If you have a concern about the website, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. This does not restrict your right to bring a matter before a competent court or relevant authority.

Dispute arrangements for consulting assignments are governed by the applicable separate agreement and law.

Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website or our activities. The date above identifies the latest revision.

Updates to these website terms do not amend a separate consulting agreement or remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
